Whew!  It was a busy July for us traveling ladies. We had fun, but it's nice to be back home in our own nest.  Just thought I would post some pictures of our trip to southeast.  Can I just say that Prince of Wales Island might be Alaska's best kept secret. (and for those of you who just said, princeofwaleswuh? case in point.) 

Did you know that Alaska has a gigantor swath of temperate rainforest?  It does, and it is a magical place.  I love it there.  And Prince of Wales Island is remote, beautiful, and full of lots of roads that can take you to said magical places.  People? Not so many...

But family, yes! Sadie got to hang with her grandma, grandpa(s) and several uncles, plus cousin Killian for two weeks.  It was a BLAST!

she also got to help with the gardening.

oh yeah, and my big little girl turned one!!!
